Summer Sound Garden (with a Davi Gray poem)

Happy Pride Month! Come see my poetry at Silverwood Park on Saturday, 6/29

Saturday-next, June 29th, from noon to 4:30 pm, there will be a Summer Sound Garden at Silverwood Park, which sounds pretty amazing (register here). I only ever thought “Soundgarden” was a band.

I attended the site-specific poetry workshop last Saturday, which was a lot of fun; it was led by the brilliant Chavonn Shen - her book, Still Life with Rope and River, is coming out soon! - and OG activist & poet Teresa Ortiz. The poems we created will be mounted around the island, and I might be there myself, at least early on, where you may hear me read the poem I composed.
