50th Anniversary of Hip Hop Celebration, Friday, August 11th, at the Loft Literary Center (1011 South Washington Avenue #200, Minneapolis, MN 55415). 3:00-9:00 PM CDT. I would not miss this if you paid me. Unless you were, you know, hiring me for a full-time job that paid me. Then I’d probably miss it. But I would miss it (in the other sense). But I’d at least catch the last couple hours!

Erin Sharkey is reading poetry at Silverwood Park, in St. Anthony. Some music afterword, apparently, by a band called Nunnabove (have not heard, cannot vouch for or against them). But first: the poetry! That, I can vouch for 😁.

Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 1:30 pm, there will be a free screening of the film “Wonderfully Made: LGBTQ+R(eligion)” at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Community.

None at the moment. Not for lack of trying. (I could do better, could do more. Not gonna lie…I’m not superhuman. Some days I’m doing my best to be a human at all. 🤷‍♀️)
