Re-Verb, the every-Thursday-night open mic at Flava Coffee & Cafe, is my go-to open mic. TruArtSpeaks, local pillar of hip hop community, puts this on. When I can, I get there. I’m not going to keep posting it here. If you want to see if I’ll be there any given week, please check my events calendar. Consider that the single source of truth.

I love the Radical Joy open mic, by Joe Davis, monthly on second Tuesdays, at Lutunji’s Palate. When I can, I like to get there. Missed it this month, alas.

I’ve yet to get to Mama’s House, at HEAL MPLS, on third Thursdays. I have high hopes. Has not worked out yet. Hopes be like that sometimes.

BuckSlam (heard that!) is second Wednesdays, and again, when I can make it, I definitely want to be there.

I put a lot of other events on my events calendar, many of which I plan to attend, but may not have anything to do with presenting/reading at.
